Too Cool For School Alabama Cheerleaders for Bear Bryant's Birthday

Someone in the comments alerted me to the fact that today is Bear Bryant's birthday. Then our Tide fan requested some Bama cheerleaders to help celebrate the Bear's birth. I'm a sucker for requests, so here a couple of Alabama cheerleaders that are certainly too cool for anyone that reads this blog!

Texas Longhorns Fans Need a Boost

It's hard to get blown out by BYU. It's even harder to give up over 500 yards rushing to BYU. But maybe there is still some hope for the good folks in Austin. After all, they still get to play Kansas this year!

At least they still have the Longhorns cheerleaders to brighten their Saturday afternoons!

Week 2 Winners: Georgia Bulldogs

After being on the wrong side of last week's Weekly Winners feature, the Dawgs pulled off the upset over South Carolina this weekend and saved their season from the brink of disaster. Crisis averted for this week at least!

Week 2 Winners: Miami Hurricanes

Honestly, I didn't see this one coming at all. While I think Florida is overrated this year for team with absolutely no offense, I didn't think The U had enough firepower to pull off the upset. Which is exactly why I am not a college football prognosticator!

Week 2 Winners: Michigan Wolverines

This was an upset in ranking only. Michigan and Notre Dame are pretty similar teams right now, but the polls (as usual) overvalued the Irish at the start of the season. Big shocker!

Week 2 Winners: BYU Cougars

We all knew Texas wasn't the 15th best team in the country. But apparently it took BYU and their 550 rushing yards to prove it to the sportswriters of America. That was just a  good, old-fashioned butt whoopin'!

Week 2 Winners: Washington State Cougars

The pirate is back, ladies and gentlemen! I don't know what is more shocking: that Washington State beat USC in Los Angeles or that a Mike Leach team only scored 10 points!

Game of the Week: (6) South Carolina v. (11) Georgia

Who in the hell is in charge of scheduling at Georgia? It's bad enough to play a Top 10 Clemson squad to open the season, but then to follow that up with #6 South Carolina? The Dawgs may very well knock themselves out of national title contention after the 2nd week of the season!

University of Denver Dancer Kaitlin is Back!

We're sticking with yesterday's "Strong is Sexy" theme today while also providing a quick update on one of our favorite College Cheerleader Heaven features.

If you remember all the way back to the beginning of July, we featured University of Denver dancer Kaitlin and told you just how much of a badass she is. This girl does Tough Mudders and was preparing to compete in her first fitness competitions. Not only did Kaitlin compete, she won 1st place in her Open Bikini Division! Which means she gets to compete in nationals this year.

Now she's taken the next step and started doing a little fitness modelling on top of everything else. I saw these pictures and just had to share them. Also, you should go ahead and do yourself a favor by following Kaitlin on Instagram: @Kaitlin_Behan

Oregon Cheerleader Stephanie Gets Her SI Cheerleader of the Week Moment

You just knew the SI Cheerleader of the Week feature was going to circle back around to Eugene at least one more time. It's not like the Duck cheerleaders are going to go out of style. They may have slipped to #6 in our 2013 Cheerleader Rankings, but that doesn't mean they aren't amazing.

Week 1 Winners: Eastern Washington

There was a whole slew of FCS teams knocking off the big boys this weekend, but Eastern Washington took it a step further by knocking off a Top 25 team in Oregon State. That is damned impressive.

I guess we can already write off the Boise State Broncos for the season. There is no way for them to recover from this loss to Washington and do anything significant this season.

Week 1 Winners: Clemson

Knocking off Georgia in the season opener should go a long way to convincing people the Tigers are the real deal this season. Now let's see if they can keep it up!
