Washington State Cheerleaders

Not sure why the blonde in the first picture is so morose. It's not like living in Pullman, WA is that bad. Right? At least you get to cheer for the Cougars!

Hat tip to bulgo125 for the pictures!

Alabama Cheerleaders Had Plenty of Reason to Cheer During the NFL Draft

Once again, the University of Alabama cheerleaders were busy cheering for their team during the first round of the NFL Draft last night. The Tide dominated the night with 3 players drafted in the first 11 picks. Hell, they went back-to-back-to-back with Dee Milliner, Chance Warmack and D.J. Fluker going in picks 9 through 11.

Florida State had 3 guys drafted in the first round last night too, but come on, does anyone really think E.J. Manuel is really a first round draft pick? Let alone the 16th pick in the first round? I guess that's why the Buffalo Bills are routinely drafting in the first half of the round instead of the second.

Anyway, back to the cheerleaders. I'm sure there was a lot "Roll Tide" being yelled in Tuscaloosa last night. Can't really blame them. It's got to be harder to find reasons not to cheer for this team these days.

Props to Terry W Sanders for the pics!

Missouri State Sugar Bears Dance Team

Is there a better name for a college dance squad than the Sugar Bears? Seriously. If there is, I would love to know about it. But for now my money is on the Sugar Bears of Missouri State University!

University of Washington Cheerleaders

For some reason I'm kind of a fan of the Washington Huskies. I think it all goes back to Steve Emtman. Which is pretty sad, actually. Maybe I should just focus on the cheerleaders.

Hat tip to bulgo125 for the pictures!

Texas A&M's Kailey is the Current SI Cheerleader of the Week

Sports Illustrated went with a dancer this time, and they even changed the name of the feature to Dancer of the Week. What are they trying to do, get me in trouble with all the dancers out there? I know there is a difference between the cheerleaders and the girls on the dance team. Believe me, I've been told. But I can't go around changing the name of my blog every day.

Rant aside, Texas A&M dancer Kailey is a doll. Even though she dances for a conference rival, I'm willing to put aside our rooting differences and show the proper respect. Honestly, I'm just glad Mizzou doesn't have to play AT College Station for the 4th straight year!

More of Kailey's SI feature can be found here.

Clemson Cheerleaders Putting in Work

Those bright, shiny orange uniforms get me every time!

Props to our pal dawsonpowers for the pics.

North Carolina Tar Heels Cheerleaders

Sometimes you just need a little baby blue in your Friday. And, no, I am not going to call it Carolina blue. You didn't invent blue, so you don't get to name it.

The UCLA Cheerleaders Are An Institution

When you talk about college cheerleaders, there are a few iconic names that immediately come to mind, and the UCLA Bruins cheerleaders might just be at the top of that list (along with their cross-town rivals the USC Song Girls).

And if you're looking for pictures of the UCLA cheerleaders, there is (almost) no better place to start than BeatSC.com. Those guys are Bruins fans to the core, and they continually show up with new and exclusive pics of the UCLA cheerleaders. Kudos to you fellas!

The Sam Houston State All Girl Squad Wants A National Title

We celebrated with the Sam Houston State Coed squad on Facebook for winning another national championship a couple of weeks ago, but yesterday we received word that the SHSU All Girl squad just barely missed winning a title of their own.

But according to our inside source, the girls are not happy with 2nd place. They are ready to head back next year to take what is theirs!

In the meantime, they are going to continue to enjoy the college life and work like demons to get those big shiny rings. We are just going to sit back& hope they keep sending us pictures of them rocking Spring Break & Daytona Beach!

Penn State Cutie Kayla from Big10Tens.com

Our friends over at Big10Tens.com posted this girl next door Nittany Lions cheerleader the other day and I just had to share. I was a Penn State fan growing up, so I still have a soft spot for any cheerleader that supports the Fightin' Paternos!

For the rest of Kayla's pictures, head over to Big10Tens.com!

VCU Cheerleaders

VCU has become the new Gonzaga in college basketball and I, for one, love it. It's another tiny school that most people had never heard of before their march to the Final Four in 2011. Sure they had a couple of coaches leave them at the altar early in the 2000s (Jeff Capel left for Oklahoma & Anthony Grant jumped ship for Alabama), but it looks like Shaka Smart is in this thing for the long.

Most importantly for our purposes, the Rams cheerleaders are smokin' hot. You all know Alana, but she isn't the only hottie patrolling the sidelines down in Richmond. We'll start with these pictures, but hopefully there will be more soon!

TCU Cheerleaders Rock That Purple

For some reason I just think purple is a great color for cheerleaders. I'm not sure why that is. I don't really like any teams that wear purple. It's not like I'm a Kansas State or Minnesota Vikings fan. Maybe it's just my appreciation for the TCU cheerleaders. That's probably enough, actually!

University of Tennessee-Martin Makes Its College Cheerleader Heaven Debut

I like to highlight schools and cheer squads that most people don't even know exist. Hell, that's how I found Texas State and the gorgeous Caitlyn!

Today we're headed down south again to Martin, TN to highlight the Tennessee-Martin cheerleaders. UTM only has about 8000 students, but the Skyhawks can still hold their own in the Ohio Valley Conference. They even beat Memphis this year in football.

Their best alums are:
It's not exactly a who's who list, but maybe one of these cheerleaders will be on that list soon. If I had to pick, I'd go with the cute redhead!
