Oregon State Cheerleaders in Spandex Shorts

Is that really what cheerleading uniforms have evolved to? I thought there was supposed to be a skirt or something. Pants are understandable when it's cold, but spandex shorts seem like a copout.

Look, I'm not complaining. They rock those shorts like nobody's business. I was just surprised to see a BCS-level cheerleading squad wearing them on game day. But what the hell do I know?

Smallest School I've Ever Featured?

I've only hit the community college ranks 3 times before on College Cheerleader Heaven. We've featured Chipola, Wallace State and Cerritos in the past, but I'm thinking JCCC is our smallest school yet. Honestly, I'm from that area, and I didn't even know they had a dance squad. That is something I am usually VERY aware of!

I got an email from a reader with these 3 pictures of an alleged Arizona State cheerleader, but no other info. I get the feeling I'm getting duped, but I thought I would throw it out to the Internets to see if anyone knew the real story.

Florida State Cheerleader Melissa Dates a Florida Gator!!!

I stumbled upon a potential landmine in the college football cheerleading world. We're talking scandal of the ages, folks! We've got a Florida State cheerleader that dates a Florida Gator football player: former walk-on RB Scott Peek. How the hell do they let this happen in Tallahassee? Is there not a screening process for this kind of thing? Jimbo Fisher cannot be happy about this. Hell, I'm not sure Will Muschamp didn't plant Melissa on the squad in an attempt to gain some sort of advantage on the field.

On the plus side for Seminole fans, Melissa is pretty freakin' hot so it might not be the worst trade in history. I think I'd be able to handle a cheerleader dating a walk-on for my rival as long as she met certain standards, and Melissa more than meets the criteria I would set out.

As kickoff nears, what do you think? Would this be OK with you if you were an FSU fan?

University of Iowa Cheerleaders

I didn't hear a single thing about Iowa this entire football season. Did they even field a team? Are they still apart of the B1G? Do they still have cheerleaders?

Well, at least I know they still have cheerleaders. It would have been a damn shame to loss this midwestern talent!

Alabama Cheerleaders Have Much To Be Thankful For This Season

After seeing their national championship hopes go down in flames at the hands of Johnny Football, the Tide cheerleaders were rescued by Baylor and Stanford in one of the craziest weekends of college football in a while. Now Bama basically holds their fate in their hands. Can't ask for more than that.

And we can't ask for much more than a couple of adorable Bama cheerleaders to jump start Turkey Day. Have a good one folks!

Loras College Cheerleaders

You know I love repping the small schools, and today I'm back to introduce you to the Loras College cheerleaders (actually making their 2nd appearance on College Cheerleader Heaven). Loras is a tiny liberal arts school in Dubuque, IA with about 1600 students on campus. But 1600 students is enough to find a cheerleading squad, so Loras is big enough for me.

The most famous alum I could find was the 2nd half of the famed crime fighting duo Gumbel To Gumbel: Greg Gumbel.
