And this post is just in the nick of time because this is the end of Hate Week here in the midwest. Today is the day Missouri and Kansas play for the 120th (and possibly last) time. We're such rivals we can't even agree on the all-time series record. Mizzou counts a forfeit (after the game in 1960) by Kansas as win, but Kansas still counts that game as a victory for them. Crazy.
But now that Mizzou is moving to the SEC, Kansas doesn't want to play us anymore. They say it's because the rivalry is a Big 12 rivalry. I thought rivalries were bigger than conference affiliation. Especially rivalries that extend all the way back to the Civil War. Whatever, take your ball and go home Jayhawks. We'll just find someone else to slaughter every year.
