Minnesota Hockey Cheerleader Katie

The vast majority of the cheerleaders we feature here on College Cheerleader Heaven cheer at the major sporting events: football, men's basketball and women's basketball. However, there is a subset of college cheerleaders that specialize in a very unique cheer experience: hockey cheerleading.

Honestly, I'm not even sure how many schools have hockey cheerleaders, but I do know that Minnesota has a top notch hockey cheer squad. And that's how we ran across Katie. The Golden Gopher junior has been skating since she was 3 years old, and she basically decided Minnesota so she could be a hockey cheerleader. How cool is that?

Katie is currently double majoring in Theater Arts and Communications, and she plans on traveling the world with Disney on Ice when she graduates next year. So if you see an ad for Disney on Ice coming to your town in 2015, make sure you look for Katie and remember where you met her first!
