Week 13 Winners -- Mississippi State

The basketball team may suck, but at least the football squad pulled off a big win against in-state rival Ole Miss Saturday. If nothing else, this game proved just how over-rated Ole Miss was at the beginning of the year. They started the season in most "experts" top 5 and they are going to finish the season unranked.

Week 13 Winners -- Oklahoma

Another disappointing season for a big time program ends with an upset of the hated in-state rival. This game had even bigger implications, though, because this loss almost certainly knocked Okie Lite out of a BCS bowl game. Way to go Sooners, you couldn't get the BCS yourself, but you were good enough to keep OSU out. I guess that's almost the same thing.

Week 13 Winners -- Georgia

Another big rivalry game, this one is for state-wide bragging rights in the state of Georgia. And the Bulldogs pulled off a big upset by taking out #7 Georgia Tech. It may be a disappointing year in Athens, but at least they beat those damn bumblebees!

Week 13 Winners -- West Virginia

This week was Rivalry Week in college football and plenty of games lived up to the billing. The Backyard Brawl between West Virginia and Pittsburgh was certainly one of those games. WVU kicked a 43 yard field goal as time expired to knock off the #9 Panthers. This is exactly why rivalry games are so much fun.

Monday Night Cheerleader Match-Up #3

Tonight we have what should be the game of the year so far. New Orleans comes into tonight's game looking to extend their perfect season to 11-0 (and match the Colts). The Patriots are looking to prove that they are still the team to beat in the NFL. If you want to prove you're the best, you have to beat the best. As usual, let's analyze this match-up from a cheerleader perspective.

New Orleans Saints
Just like the football team, there is some definite talent on this squad. A number of playmakers that can step up and deliver in a pinch. But there is one BIG star. The blonde at the end is without a doubt the Drew Brees of the Saints cheerleader team.

New England Patriots
Again, just like the football team, there is are some bright, shining stars here. But the real strength is depth. They are all top notch hotties. Even the ones that you think aren't that hot, once you look a little a closer, pull a Wes Welker and blow you away.

Even from the cheerleader side of things, this is a tough game to pick. You certainly can't go wrong either way. Do you take the superstar or the depth? Quality or quantity? It really is an age old dilemma. I think I'm going against my heart and picking the Patriots in a squeaker. We shall see.

Arkansas Has Cheerleaders At Baseball Games?!?

Seems a little strange to me, but I like it all the same. I might have to do a little more "research" on this baseball cheerleaders thing. Don't worry, I'll share whatever I find.

Foreign Cheerleader Friday -- Spanish Basketball

I keep thinking about recurring themes for the blog. This theme might be a little burdensome, but nobody ever said maintaining a blog about professional cheerleaders was going to be easy. OK, so maybe it is pretty easy. Whatever. It's the day after Thanksgiving, and I'm still in the midst of a turkey hangover.

The point is I'm going to try to track down some hot cheerleaders from outside the United States to give this blog a more worldly feel. Not cultured, just more worldly. Our first installment is a group of damn hot basketball cheerleaders for some team in Spain. I think. I'll be honest, I'm not really sure where they're from, but I'm pretty sure you don't care. They are hot cheerleaders in skimpy uniforms. And they're flexible! Bring 'em on!

Alabama Cheerleader Elena

Today is the Annual Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn. I don't really have a dog in this fight, but I've had plenty of Auburn cheerleaders on the blog before.

So today I thought I'd go with The Tide for a couple of reasons. First, Elena is damn hot. That's really the only reason I need. But I'd also like to see a Florida-Alabama SEC Championship game as a defacto BCS National Championship Semi-final. Of course, I'm a nerd like that.

The New York Jets Flight Crew Wishes You A Happy Thanksgiving

After checking out these hotties, I know exactly what I'm going to dream about once I enter my Tryptophan induced coma later this afternoon. Happy Turkey Day everyone!
